Free Issues and Offprints

Our authors are entitled to two free copies of the journal issue in which their paper has been published, as well as a PDF offprint. They are also entitled to discount if they wish to purchase extra copies of that same issue.

These materials should be destined to a strictly personal use. Not only because upon article publication and signing of the author agreement the contribution's copyrights are property of FIA, but also because given the current circumstances of scientific publishing markets, the survival of publications such as ours, and of the very FIA as a non-for-profit entity, relies heavily on an active defense of subscriptions and paid use of all material released by authors through our publications as the only means to spread the information they contain.

Indiscriminately photocopying or printing articles, whatever purpose behind it, is not only a violation of copyright but an irresponsible action: here at FIA we are in need of the cooperation of all our authors to help avoid illegitimate use of our publications and facilitate our joint venture for the sake of scientific advance.
