After being included in ISI/Web of Knowledge in 2008 (2006 in the case of Infancia y Aprendizaje), and the publication of their first IF in 2010, and the second in 2011, Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje journals' impact factors for 2012 have been published in Journal Citation Reports.

Editorial: Toma de perspectiva, para una visión prospectiva (2012-2017)

Al inicio de este 2012 recibíamos el testigo del anterior equipo editorial para dirigir Infancia y Aprendizaje. Sin duda una herencia saludable, consecuencia de un período fructífero en que la revista mejoró sus procesos de gestión gracias a su incorporación a la plataforma RECYT, entró a formar parte de las bases de revistas científicas indexadas de mayor circulación en el mundo, e incrementó notablemente el número de textos recibidos y, al mismo tiempo, el nivel de exigencia para su publicación (Martín y Pozo, 2011). Un eslabón más en la trayectoria de una publicación que desde sus inicios ha sido un referente de calidad en la investigación psicoeducativa en español, a nivel internacional.

Editorial: Despedida de los editores generales (2006-2011)

Hace ya casi seis años asumimos la responsabilidad de la gestión editorial de Infancia y Aprendizaje. Contábamos entonces con la seguridad de apoyarnos en la tradición académica consolidada de la revista, alcanzada gracias sobre todo a sus autores y a sus lectores, pero también al trabajo continuado de todos los equipos de dirección de la revista anteriores. Desde el primer momento contamos también con un grupo de editores asociados entusiastas y comprometidos y una comunidad científica de evaluadores, que en una labor abnegada y muy poco reconocida académicamente, sostienen el funcionamiento no sólo de esta revista sino de todas las otras publicaciones académicas basadas en la evaluación por pares. Gracias a ellos, ha sido posible que Infancia y Aprendizaje no sólo haya mantenido su presencia en la comunidad académica, sino que haya sido capaz de, conservando su identidad, adaptarse a las exigencias crecientes de la producción científica y a sus nuevas formas. Estamos seguros de que el nuevo equipo editorial, que comenzará su andadura próximamente, coordinado por Carles Monereo (Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona) y Nora Scheuer (CONICET, Universidad Nacional del Comahue, Bariloche, Argentina), seguirá con este proceso de transformar la gestión editorial de Infancia y Aprendizaje, al tiempo que mantendrá su identidad académica, con el objetivo de seguir siendo, como todos estos años, un espacio privilegiado para la difusión de la investigación evolutiva y educativa realizada en nuestra lengua, en el marco de la comunidad española y latinoamericana.
