Under the title "Activités, textes et langues: leur dynamique interactive et ses effets", the 4th International Meetings of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (4èmes Rencontres International de l'Interactionnisme Sociodiscursif) will take place in Geneva in 17-19 July, 2013.

In these 4èmes Rencontres International de l'Interactionnisme Sociodiscursif homage will be paid to Jean-Paul Bronckart, founder of this approach, on the eve of his retirement.

This is an event of special significance to us: Jean-Paul Bronckart has been one of the closest persons to the Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje from its very beginning, and has shared his human and scientific quality in our own education and psychology meetings, has been one of the most veteran and present members of Infancia y Aprendizaje's Editorial Board throughout many of its different stages (and of other journals, such as Estudios de Psicología), and one of the most relevant advocates of the sociocultural approach, an approach whose development and spread has been one of FIA's main tasks.

He is author of the book Actividad verbal, textos y discursos. Por un interaccionismo socio-discursivo, published in Spanish by FIA. 

Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje wishes to share with its readers and collaborators this call for contributions, and we encourage to send their proposals by 15 September 2012 following the instructions detailed in this document.

As the journal’s new editorial team, we take on the challenge of continuing the success achieved by Estudios de Psicología, through its important contributions to the development of Social Sciences, and especially of Psychology. It is for us a great honor to carry on with the work of the journal Ángel Rivière founded in 1980. 

After being included in ISI/Web of Knowledge in 2008, Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje journals' impact factor has been published in Journal Citation Reports. 

Psyecology, Bilingual Journal of Environmental Psychology has been included in Scopus of Elsevier, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, and possibly the most important, along with the Web of Knowledge, of Thomson Scientific/Institute for Scientific Information (ISI).

In the spring of 1986 the first issue of Revista de Psicología Social (RPS) was published. Almost 25 years have passed since. For Spanish and Latin American Social Psychology, these two and a half decades have brought a radical transformation in very different issues: social and institutional recognition, resources, international presence, etcetera.

Fundación Infancia y Aprendizaje launches in 2010 the journal Psyecology, Bilingual Journal of Environmental Psycology. This new publication, the first bilingual journal of environmental psycology in the world, is a perfect fit for our line of periodicals, and covers an increasingly relevant niche in psychology in the world at large, and especially in the Latin American arena.

In 2008, FIA signed an agreement with Paradox, a leading library and book distributing service for psychological and educational material in Spain, for the distribution of all our books within the Spanish territory*.

While Infancia y Aprendizaje was granted this distinction in 2006, starting 2008 all FIA journals published up to that date have been included in the Web of Knowledge, an array of the most relevant journals in academia in terms of impact and quality, as established by Thomson Scientific/Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) criteria.

2008 is the third year in this new stage for Infancia y Aprendizaje, since it was incorporated, in 2006, into the Web of Knowledge, an array of the most relevant journals in academia in terms of impact and quality, as established by Thomson Scientific/Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) criteria.

In 2007, and after a long and meticulous reviewing and editing process, FIA publishes three books of the Byelorussian psychologist in Spanish ( Tool and Sign in Child Development,  The Tragedy of Hamlet / Psychology of Art and Writings on Art and Creative Education by Lev S. Vygotsky) dedicated to an aspect of his work relatively neglected in the international publishing arena, that related to processes of meaning-making, cultural creation, creativity and directivity.

All three volumes have been edited by Pablo del Río and Amelia Álvarez.
